We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional food service in a supportive environment. Duties

Assist in meal preparation and serving of food to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines. Ensure all food handling and sanitation practices are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to prepare meals that meet the specific dietary needs of residents, including those with allergies or special diets. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents during meal times and addressing any concerns or requests they may have. Support kitchen operations by assisting with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food service and preparation.

Requirements

Previous experience in retirwment living settings is preferred. Background in the food industry with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members. Experience in food handling and sanitation practices is essential. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous kitchen experience is an asset, along with skills in serving meals efficiently. A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area while ensuring compliance with health regulations.
