Responsible for collecting, assessing, and accurately entering all dietary related patient information into Computrition Menu system to support the provision of patient-specific meals in accordance with prescribed diet orders. This role serves as a key liaison between the department, nursing units, patients, and Clinical Dietitians to ensure the effective delivery of nutritional care. Additional responsibilities include entering diet orders, allergy information, and meal preferences into the Computrition system.
Qualifications

• Completion of a Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM) accredited diploma program or a 4 yr Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
• Active member of CSNM
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Meditech or comparable software) required
• Familiar with Foodservice Diet Office Operating Systems (Computrition or comparable)
• Clinical nutrition knowledge in the management of disease
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload independently and use good judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment
• Demonstrates a caring, respectful and professional approach
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.
Additional Information
Hours: Monday - Sunday, various rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts, 0500-1700; 0600-1800; 1100-1900; (Hours subject to change based on operational requirements)
Salary: $23.20 to $28.96 per hour
