Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with experience in servicing and repairing diesel engines, 1500 to 5500 series trucks. modifications , Lift kits and emission systems. This role involves working with and diagnose on the 3 major brands while ensuring high standards of safety and quality in all tasks performed.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals. Operate 1500 to 5500 series or trucks to assess performance and functionality. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and assembly tasks. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or on-site.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with electrical systems and HVAC components is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical documents. Excellent communication skills for effective customer service interactions.
