About the role

High-volume light and medium-duty diesel repair facility in Langley is hiring an Automotive Technician to support continued growth across fleet and retail work. We work on all major diesel platforms including Power Stroke, Cummins, Duramax, and Sprinter. You'll be joining a strong, established team in a busy, well-equipped shop.

Primary qualification

Experience with diesel engines is the key requirement for this role.

Who we're looking for

3rd-year apprentice, 4th-year apprentice, or Red Seal Automotive Service Technician

Minimum

2 years' diesel engine and diesel driveline experience

Valid driver's

licence

with clean abstract Comfortable with diagnostic equipment, service information systems, and schematics Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work cleanly and efficiently Welding skills (or willingness to learn) Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, powertrain, electrical, and suspension systems Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections to spec Document findings and collaborate with Service Advisors on repair recommendations Use electronic work orders (basic computer skills required) Maintain a clean, organised bay and support general facility upkeep
