Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surface Diamond Driller. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in Surface Diamond drilling operations. As a Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain drilling equipment, including drill rigs and associated machinery. Conduct pre-drill inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Monitor drilling parameters and adjust as necessary to optimize performance. Collaborate with the drilling crew to execute drilling plans efficiently. Maintain accurate records of drilling operations and report any issues to supervisors. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during all drilling activities. Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and safety practices. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, as needed. Mentor Helpers as required Fill out shift paperwork as required

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience as a Diamond Driller Valid driving license an asset but not required on all jobs Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as required by project demands. First aid is required prior to starting onsite
