Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Ultrasound Technologists/Registered Sonographers to join our amazing team for a future opportunity.

The successful candidate will provide care according to the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO), the Standards of Practice of Carecor Health Services, and the healthcare facility where assigned. You will be helping to foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients while providing exemplary patient care. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12-hour shift.

Job Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Training program Current member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in good standing Current registration with Sonography Canada Experience working in a hospital-based Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound setting within the past 2 years Proficiency in performing obstetrical/gynecological, abdomen, vascular, small parts, neuro and large parts ultrasound imaging procedures Strong understanding of vascular anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to ultrasound imaging Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills capable of working independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate compassion, and professionalism to provide quality patient-centered care Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Level II - Basic Rescuer Certification and N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
