Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and precision, ensuring high quality images on patients of all ages
Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients, helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process
Must be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of the team.
Maintain patient records and imaging data in compliance with all privacy, confidentiality and security standards
Ensure all images meet technical and diagnostic requirements
Assist in preparing patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns, preparing the room and keeping accurate, detailed records
Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and industry best practices, proficient computer user.
Adherence to all IPAC regulations
Be able to work on a variety of ultrasound equipment
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
Registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) as a DMS
Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS certifications preferred
Experience/certification in general ultrasound, OB/GYN, Abdominal, Small Parts.
Experience in vascular, MSK and breast are an asset
Registration with BORN Ontario for Nuchal Translucency exams an asset
At least 2 years working experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate will be scheduled at all three active Oshawa Clinic Group sites in Oshawa, Whitby and Courtice
