Job Description

To foster agility, software craftsmanship, and DevOps practices within the bank, the DevOps Service Platform team provides developers with a comprehensive suite of tools and platforms. These include the Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Software Development Kits (SDKs), and the administration of GIT servers, Jenkins/TeamCity servers, Jira, Nexus, Sonar, and XLDeploy, both on-premises and in Azure.



Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:



Support and Adoption:



Ensure the stability and availability of the software factory's services and tools Adhere to the platform's SLA in a Follow-The-Sun (FTS) support model Operate services in compliance with security regulations Communicate effectively regarding incidents and planned releases Assist application teams in adopting best practices for industrializing their Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines Support application teams in using the CI/CD tools provided


Development and Evolution of the Offering

:

Develop prototypes and conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate new tools for the software factory Install, upgrade, and maintain tools and new instances Reduce support workload through increased automation and the use of chatbots Contribute to the evolution of the offer on Microsoft Azure Public Cloud Define and implement monitoring KPIs to establish SLOs/SLAs/SLIs and monitor application performance


Knowledge Sharing:



Contribute to documentation and promote the correct use of tools Write internal processes to improve support team efficiency Advocate for best practices on the Continuous Delivery platform and participate in the "Test and Deployment" community Serve as the regional (AMER) expert on CI/CD tools, offering advice and guidance when needed


Profile



Skills and Qualifications:





Must Have:

Proficiency in Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, and Monitoring tools At least 5 years of experience in development or administration of Software Factory tools Autonomy: capable of independently leading meetings with users, representing the department to application managers, and escalating issues when necessary Ability to understand internal tools, prioritize tasks, follow up on ongoing actions, and keep stakeholders informed of any delays A strong willingness to learn new technologies, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues involving multiple IT teams or users Ability to propose pragmatic solutions that meet team project needs while adhering to quality standards Perseverance and a results-driven mindset Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (ability to present CI/CD tools) Client-Centric: Ability to understand users' needs and provide appropriate assistance Collaboration and Team Spirit: Ability to work harmoniously with an international team spread across Montreal, Paris, and Bangalore


Nice-to-Have:




Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, build tools (Maven, MSBuild, npm, etc.), TeamCity, Jira, GitHub Enterprise, XLDeploy, Nexus, JFrog Platform, Artifactory, Sonar, PowerShell, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.

LANGUAGE: French and English




Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.

Pour favoriser l'agilite, l'artisanat logiciel et les pratiques DevOps au sein de la banque, l'equipe DevOps Service Platform fournit aux developpeurs une suite complete d'outils et de plateformes. Il s'agit notamment de l'environnement de developpement integre (IDE), des kits de developpement logiciel (SDK) et de l'administration des serveurs GIT, des serveurs Jenkins/TeamCity, de Jira, Nexus, Sonar et XLDeploy, a la fois sur site et dans Azure.



Vos principales responsabilites incluront, sans s'y limiter, les suivantes :



Support et adoption:



Assurer la stabilite et la disponibilite des services et outils de l'usine logicielle Adherer au SLA de la plateforme dans un modele de support Follow-The-Sun (FTS) Exploiter les services en conformite avec les reglementations de securite Communiquer efficacement sur les incidents et les versions prevues Aider les equipes applicatives a adopter les meilleures pratiques pour industrialiser leurs pipelines d'integration continue (CI) et de livraison continue (CD) Soutenir les equipes applicatives dans l'utilisation des outils CI/CD fournis


Developpement et evolution de l'offre:



Developper des prototypes et realiser des preuves de concept (POC) pour valider de nouveaux outils pour l'usine logicielle Installer, mettre a niveau et maintenir des outils et de nouvelles instances Reduire la charge de travail du support grace a une automatisation accrue et a l'utilisation de chatbots Contribuer a l'evolution de l'offre sur Microsoft Azure Public Cloud Definir et mettre en oeuvre des KPI de surveillance pour etablir des SLO/SLA/SLI et surveiller les performances des applications


Partage des connaissances:



Contribuer a la documentation et promouvoir la bonne utilisation des outils Rediger des processus internes pour ameliorer l'efficacite de l'equipe de support Proner les meilleures pratiques sur la plateforme de livraison continue et participer a la communaute Test et deploiement Servir d'expert regional (AMER) sur les outils CI/CD, en offrant des conseils et des orientations en cas de besoin

Doit avoir :



Maitrise de Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git et des outils de surveillance Au moins 5 ans d'experience dans le developpement ou l'administration d'outils Software Factory Autonomie : capable de diriger de maniere autonome des reunions avec les utilisateurs, de representer le departement aupres des responsables d'applications et de faire remonter les problemes si necessaire Capacite a comprendre les outils internes, a prioriser les taches, a suivre les actions en cours et a tenir les parties prenantes informees de tout retard Une forte volonte d'apprendre de nouvelles technologies, avec la capacite d'analyser et de resoudre des problemes complexes impliquant plusieurs equipes informatiques ou utilisateurs Capacite a proposer des solutions pragmatiques qui repondent aux besoins des projets d'equipe tout en adherant aux normes de qualite Perseverance et etat d'esprit axe sur les resultats Fortes competences en communication orale et ecrite, y compris les competences en presentation (capacite a presenter les outils CI/CD) Axe sur le client : capacite a comprendre les besoins des utilisateurs et a fournir une assistance appropriee Collaboration et esprit d'equipe : capacite a travailler en harmonie avec une equipe internationale repartie entre Montreal, Paris et Bangalore
