We are currently looking to fill a permanent full time position for a DevOps Manager for our IT department at our Leamington, ON location.

The DevOps Manager leads the design, execution, and management of the ERP system, as well as establishing a DevOps culture to apply to all areas of the business. This position leads a team of technical workers who run and operate the ERP programs by giving them tasks, and acts as an expert for the team, answering questions and providing guidance for all team projects. They also manage all troubleshooting issues and inquiries to make sure the ERP systems are working well and helping the business operate smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership skills, and the ability to encourage communication and cooperation between teams. In this role, you will be responsible for improving our software development and deployment processes, finding and solving problems, and ensuring effective collaboration and coordination between the development and operations teams.


Job Specific Duties



Create and maintain a DevOps environment, creating a Development, Beta and Production model for all Applications, to encourage strong quality assurance; support in deploying and training new users. Maintain and update Documentation on the Application, including revision history and data flow between both Applications and Defined Systems. Create reports on Internal Cost of both Developing Applications Internally, and maintenance of the software. Implement Applications that improve business performance and improve End User Performance. Work with vendors on different projects to track progress and meet deadlines. Communicate with vendors for technical support for server related issues or any other general queries. Gather reporting requirements from different users/departments and prioritize them. Manage the DevOps to allocate projects according to team member's skillset and track project progress to meet the deadlines. Evaluate any Third-Party Software that may be implementing, determine value and co-ordinate with departments to confirm no overlap. Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems. Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary. Use Ticket System to track all work done for the team, including, and not limited to Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. Qualifications



5+ years of DevOps experience in creating, designing, and implementing applications. 3+ years of demonstrated abilities in managing a team including coaching, employee development and achieving performance goals. 2 years of experience in project management and completing projects. Experience in SQL for both Applications and Day 2 Optimizations. A very high degree of confidentiality and integrity is required regarding all aspects of the business. A valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle are required. A valid passport and the ability to travel locally and internationally are required. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, reading, writing, listening and oral communication. Ability to work in a fact environment by multitasking and prioritizing work while being attentive to details and quality. Ability to embrace and adapt to the rapid growth, innovation, and development of the company. Critical thinking and ability to make decisions in a timely manner; good judgement and fairness are key. Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex problems with limited information and changing conditions. Must be hands-on and process oriented, always looking to improve processes. Works Monday - Friday in office but must be available to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed.

Working Conditions



Mainly office setting with some warehouse/greenhouse as needed - walking, sitting, and standing throughout the day. Full time hours Monday to Friday with availability to work flexible hours including weekends and extended hours if needed. Working with minimal supervision during the day but also communicating with different individuals and teams across our facilities and from external organizations.
