Curinos is looking for a DevOps Engineer who will work side by side with DevOps architect, engineering, DevOps, IT and operations teams to improve our SaaS platform for various products by creating, maintaining and improving environments using IAC, automate the various promotion processes that we have internally and manage containerized high availability production environments. You can expect the following responsibilities:

• Will maintain and build AWS based SaaS environments hosting multiple products
• Will maintain and build CICD processes and various automations to improve efficiency of the engineering and products
• Will own automated deployments of AWS EMR, Databricks and associated tools
• Work with Data Scientists, ML Engineers and Data Engineers to provide tools and solutions required for their day-to-day operations
• Using Terraform, Ansible etc., create IAC driven deployments of new tools and technologies
• Will work with DevOps architect and Solution architects to identify the correct solution
• Own and debug various Big Data related environments and issues

This is a full time position and play a very critical role in our DevOps and Product roadmap, working alongside DevOps and Engineering

Qualifications
Candidates should have the following background, skills, and characteristics:

• Intellectual curiosity and innovative thinking with a passion for problem-solving and working independently or immersed within teams with no boundaries
• 4+ years of DevOps experience in a production environment
• 2+ years of AWS experience, in designing and maintaining cloud-based solutions
• Familiarity with AWS Platform - EMR, S3, RDS, IAM, auto-scaling, Lambda etc.
• Proficient in Terraform and either Chef or Ansible
• Proficient in two or more storage and messaging technologies (e.g., Databricks, AWS EMR, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, S3, Postgres, MS SQL Server, Impala)
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, JavaScript)
• Proficiency with Linux administration/engineering
• Deep understanding of cloud-scale and micro/macro-services architectures, experience in operating high performance, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant multi-tenant SaaS based applications.
• Experience working with configuration management systems and deployment automation
• Excellent business communication skills
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required
