Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, and Maven to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Manage containerization platforms including Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate scalable microservices architecture. Implement and oversee cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack, and VMware for deployment of SaaS applications. Automate configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and PowerShell scripts to ensure consistent environments across development, testing, and production. Monitor system performance with tools such as New Relic and Splunk; perform log analysis for troubleshooting and incident response. Manage enterprise middleware including Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, and IIS; ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness. Administer databases like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DynamoDB; optimize queries with T-SQL and PL/SQL. Configure network security measures including firewalls, DNS management, identity & access management (IAM), VPNs, TCP/IP configurations to safeguard cloud infrastructure. Support virtualization technologies such as VMware and Virtualization platforms to optimize resource utilization. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments for requirements gathering, release management, system testing, software troubleshooting, and incident management.

Requirements

Proven experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS (S3), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure or OpenStack. Strong expertise in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), configuration management (Ansible/Puppet/Chef), and scripting languages (Python, Bash/Unix Shell Scripting). Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket pipelines. Proficiency with enterprise middleware (Weblogic/WebSphere/JBoss/Tomcat) and web services (RESTful API/REST). Experience managing databases like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle; familiarity with SQL/T-SQL/PLSQL. Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPNs & firewall security measures. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V; experience with cloud security best practices. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to distributed systems; experience with log analysis tools like Splunk or ELK stack is a plus. Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban; strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration. Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect/AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) or DevOps tools are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
