Job Overview



We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Device Technician

to join our team. In this role, you'll diagnose and repair a variety of electronics including smartphones, laptops, and tablets, while providing excellent service to our customers. The work can be fast-paced and occasionally demanding, but it's also rewarding -- every day brings new challenges and opportunities to grow your technical skills. Responsibilities



Diagnose and repair smartphones, laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices with accuracy and attention to detail. Perform part replacements (screens, batteries, charging ports, etc.) using proper tools and techniques. Communicate repair findings and timelines clearly to customers in person and over the phone. Maintain detailed and accurate repair logs, part orders, and customer records. Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Manage multiple repairs at once while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Handle occasional high-pressure or time-sensitive situations with professionalism and composure. Stay up to date with new device models, repair techniques, and industry best practices.

Qualifications



Previous experience in electronics/device repair (smartphones, laptops, tablets, etc.) is an asset but not strictly required -- training is provided. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and accurately. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain professional under pressure. Strong communication skills for explaining technical information to customers in a clear,

friendly

manner. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Dependable

and

punctual

with strong time-management skills. Basic computer knowledge (using POS systems, order tracking, logging repairs). Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technology.

IN PERSON between the hours of 2-4PM Mon-Friday.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.70 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
