Job description
As an integral part of the mining operations team, the development miner is responsible for carrying out drilling, safe loading of explosive, blasting, mucking and insulation of ground support. This work will be done according to the laws and specifications laid out in the mining drawings.

Main tasks
Respect safety standards at all times; Do pre-operational checks on equipment; Inspect the workplace at the beginning of the shift; Operate drilling equipment such as - jumbo and mechanized bolter; Load and cap round with explosives; Install ventilation, air and water according to procedures; Inspect the equipment at the end of the shift; Complete the work card at the end of the shift; Any other related tasks.

Requirements
Underground hard rock common core in Ontario; Hold a valid explosive license; Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role; Hold a high school diploma or other equivalent degree; Fluent in English is required. ###
