About the role
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and execution of land development projects for the Westbow Group. You will work closely with project managers, consultants and municipal authorities to ensure projects are well-organized and progress smoothly. Key responsibilities include managing project documentation, coordinating schedules, facilitating communication with stakeholders, and preparing reports. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all parties have the information and support needed for a successful project delivery.
Hourly Pay Range:
$25.00-$35.00/hr

What you'll be doing
Assist in managing and tracking progress of land development projects.
Organizing and maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, reports, schedules, and correspondence.
Assist development team in preparing and monitoring development budgets, project schedules, tracking costs, and coordinating invoices.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external officials to ensure smooth project execution.
Assist development team in market, product data and service research for development projects.
Attend consultant meetings, preparing meeting minutes and follow up reports.
Provide support to development team with public engagement and community meetings.
Maintaining and organizing project files.
What we're looking for
2+ years experience in an administrative role, preferably within real estate development or construction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools.
1+ years of experience in a development coordinator or similar role is considered an asset.
Knowledge of land development processes, regulations, and market trends is an asset.
Post secondary education in urban planning, civil engineering or construction management is an asset.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
