We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Software Developers.

What You Will Do

Begin your journey by engaging with our customer support team to familiarize yourself with our products and understand customer needs. Collaborate with a diverse team to systematize, design, code, and test radio platform software and Open RAN technologies. Develop production software, unit test software, and automated test software for 5G radio and Open RAN products. Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during testing, contributing to the continuous improvement of product quality. Participate in software/hardware integration testing in the lab, both independently and as part of a team. Review and provide feedback on software designs and test plans, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

You will bring

B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages, with a foundational understanding of operating systems, kernel, and driver development. Basic knowledge of Linux as a development environment and a willingness to learn and grow within this ecosystem. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with external stakeholders. A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for technology and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with microcontrollers, interrupts, UART, SPI, I2C, timers, power management, and wireless SoCs. Experience or coursework with the Yocto build environment and test infrastructure for CI/CD. Understanding of Linux kernel development, Python, shell scripting, and Java. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and code review tools like Gerrit.

Salary Range:

+ Bachelor: around 84,000CAD annual
+ Master: around 93,000CAD annual

Hiring Bonus:

+ Bachelor: 8,500 CAD
+ Master: 11,500CAD

This position reports to Manager Control System 3.
