Key Accountabilities:
The main function of a Credit Risk Technology Developer is to perform analysis, create, implement, modify and manage applications which assist the Risk function of Business Banking Lending.
Job Responsibilities:
Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Assists one or more highly complex business processes. Works on multiple projects as a project team member
Serves as a liaison between the business community (Business Banking Risk Risk) and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Must have skills:
8-10 years of experience working as a Developer or relevant experience
2-3+ years of Experience with Cobol Mainframe
Proven experience with building coding in the recent projects
Experience with Java
Experience with Unit testing with code
Must have intermediate understanding of working with IDE's such as Eclipse
Advanced understanding and management principles for software development.
Nice to have:
Understanding of TRIAD, Blaze advisor and other risk technology systems.
Previous experience working with top 5 Banks / Financial institutes
Knowledge of agile methodology is an asset.

Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage.
Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency without compromising Fraud Risk requirements
A high level of social and verbal communication skills necessary as engagement with various teams across multiple functions will be done daily
Ability to assess complex situations and problems and conduct research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
Best VS. Average Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a strong developer with excellent communications. Ability to build and test the code independently. Previous exp with Blaze advisor is highly preferred.
