Job Description

Purpose

To provide supervisory oversight for a group(s) of detailers, including coordinating work, ensuring that job standards are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication's vision and values. Supervise detailers, review their work, assist with any reported difficulties, and identify ways to correct deficiencies. Responsible for continually reassessing detailing techniques and recommending integrated, cost-effective solutions to improving efficiencies, and participating in the development of recommended actions. Track employee's progress on assigned work. Assist in the performance review process and recommend appropriate salary adjustments as needed for assigned detailing personnel. Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college or equivalent At least four years of experience as a Senior Detailer Requires thorough knowledge of Nucor Rebar Fabrication's detailing system General supervisory skills or supervisory training Able to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities Effective verbal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements

2 year technical diploma from an accredited school or college Critical thinking skills and have the ability to creatively motivate detailers
