We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Detailer to join our Collision Centre team. This role includes interior and exterior cleaning, performing basic vehicle inspections, staging, fueling and parking vehicles, and supporting the overall cleanliness of the branch. The position also involves assisting customers, reporting safety concerns, and ensuring all vehicles are prepared quickly and professionally. BRIEF OVERVIEW OF JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
Vehicle Cleaning & Preparation
Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors following industry-standard protocols.
Vehicle Inspection
Check fuel level and dashboard warning lights.
Inspect windshields for damage and perform factory reset/restoration of vehicle settings to remove previous customer data.
Ensure no customer items remain in the vehicle; deliver valuable items to Lost & Found.
Confirm registration is present, valid, and matches the license plate.
Inspect tire condition, tread depth, and pressure; check and top up fluid levels as needed.
Examine the vehicle exterior for any damage and report concerns immediately.
Vehicle Staging & Safety
Fuel, park, and stage vehicles as required.
Report any safety issues, warning lights, or vehicle damage and remove unsafe vehicles from the prep process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and report hazardous conditions.
Customer & Site Support
Assist customers as needed and, when required, transport customers to and from branch locations.
Support the overall appearance and cleanliness of the branch, including:
Cleaning desktops, counters, phones, floors, bathrooms
Taking out trash
Sweeping the lot
Performing other tasks to maintain a clean and professional environment
Additional Responsibilities
Seek continuous improvement through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Operate cleaning tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Qualifications
Valid
Ontario G or G2 driver's license
with
no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents
within the past 3 years.
No drug or alcohol-related driving convictions within the past 5 years.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
Ability to lift up to
25 pounds
to assist customers.
Must be at least
18 years of age
.
Must be available to work
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
