has an immediate opening for an experienced Automotive Detailer to join our successful dealership. Major Responsibilities:



Wash, wax and polish windows, tire, mirrors and interior and exterior areas of car to ensure a spotless finish. Apply protective treatments such as ceramic coatings or sealants when necessary. Vacuum, shampoo vehicle carpets, mats, and seats and condition leather, vinyl and fabric surfaces and wipe down dashboards, door panels, and consoles to remove dust and debris. Apply appropriate cleaners and protectants to enhance interior surfaces. Perform high-level detailing services including paint correction, clay bar treatments, and scratch removal. Apply specialized treatments such as fabric protection, interior odor elimination, and engine bay cleaning. Perform deep cleaning for trade-in vehicles or cars prepped for sale. Conduct final quality checks on detailed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership standards. Interact with service advisors or customers, when necessary, to explain detailing services or address any specific customer requests. Assist with any special customer requests for custom detailing services. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including detailing bays and storage areas. Handle and store cleaning products, chemicals, and tools in compliance with safety regulations. Regularly inspect detailing equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order. Coordinate with the service and sales teams to ensure timely vehicle readiness. Assist with vehicle deliveries and preparation to customers for dealership events and displays. Adhere to company and manufacturer standards for detailing techniques and H&S policies. Report any vehicle damage or concerns observed during the detailing process to the appropriate department. Additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Continuous Learning & Improvement:



We are committed to your continuous learning and development and as such, it is a requirement of this role to participate in orientation, self-assessments and coaching sessions and demonstrations with managers as well as ongoing training and development as it becomes available from the manufacturer or through the dealership.

Other Job Requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in automotive detailing or a similar role is an asset. Familiarity with detailing tools, cleaning products, and equipment. Must have a valid driver's license (required). Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time. Physical stamina: bending, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills with team members and customers. Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
