Summary

This position is responsible for the accurate and thorough cleaning of the interior and exterior of all customer and dealership vehicles in accordance with the service schedule and keeping records related to gas levels and the condition of the vehicle.

The Details

The Detailer will provide quality automotive cleaning services to our customers by cleaning vehicles according to company standards or client specifications. These standards and specifications may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors,


The incumbent will possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles.


Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.


Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle's condition as well as gas levels.


Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up as required.

Machines and Equipment

Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.


Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles according to manufacturer's instructions.

Other Skills/Requirements

In performing the position duties and responsibilities, the incumbent will be required to use the following skill sets and licensing requirements:

Ability to learn and follow processes. Must have a strong work ethic while remaining punctual and reliable. Must possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Must be able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions. Willingness and ability to work outside in all-weather conditions.

Ability to work independently or within a team. Able to demonstrate quality service and high-volume success.

Adaptable to work evening and weekend shifts as scheduled.

Education & Experience

Minimum Grade 12 High School Diploma. Prior detailing experience is preferred but not required
