Bonnyville Dodge is looking to add a motivated and hard-working detailer to join our body shop! Our Detailers are instrumental in delivering vehicles to customers in immaculate condition. This is a physically demanding, full time position with flexible working hours.

Cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles, prior to customer delivery. Washes vehicle exterior to clean cars, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes. Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine. Vacuums interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner. Cleans upholstery, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Applies revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces, and treats fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components. Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime covering electrical components. Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer. Dries vehicle in a streak and spot free technique. Wash and buff wheels, as required. Applies rubber dressing to tires. Checks and removes coating over-spray on parts and/or vehicles received from body shop. Rustproof any replacement panels if required. Applies dyes and reconditioning chemical to vinyl tops of vehicle to restore color and condition. Applies rubber and vinyl dress to shine engine area. Cleans glass surfaces on both sides with cleaning agents. Replace strips and nameplates, when necessary. Register and store keys. Inspect finished product thoroughly and report any discrepancies to the Sales Manager prior to vehicle delivery. Complete the detailing checklist. Maintain a clean and orderly shop. Place or replace dealership stickers and plates. Arrange vehicles to maximize sales lot space and display. Pick up and deliver vehicles to customers, drive customer shuttle as required. Switch plates and personal belongings for sold units. Train new employees. Keep supplies stocked. Use preventative measures such as to guard against theft of tires, locking tailgates and other items. Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures. Comply with required health and safety regulations. Perform any other duties as required.
