Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts & Detail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, order & receiving parts, pre & post car washing, scanning vehicles, and shop cleanliness . The candidate will be responsible for contributing to the productivity and efficiency of the detail and parts departments

Duties



Detail vehicles to remove any signs of an accident or repair. Perform necessary maintenance to the shop as required. Wash vehicles before and after the reparations required. As required, polish vehicles. Manage work assignments to achieve targets set out by production and parts efficiency manager. Ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, to reduce and eliminate re-work and warranty claims. Review repair orders to work as efficiently as possible. Constructively seek opportunities to provide feedback on repair orders to reduce costs Other related tasks as required. Control all parts, materials and other inventories through correct and efficient ordering and stocking processes. Contribute to "on time" vehicle deliveries and department profitability through proper management and best practices regarding ordering, receiving, staging, returning (etc.) of all parts and materials. Contribute to profitability by working with estimators and repair planners to ensure all parts or materials are accounted for and invoiced correctly.

Experience



High school or college automotive body repair diploma. At least 5 years of automotive parts management preferred. Body Shop Repair Industry experience preferred. Good knowledge of industry softwares such as Repair Center preferred. Possess a valid drivers' license. Ability to work independently in a busy environment. Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment. Able to work well under pressure. Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
