315 - La didactique des sciences humaines a l'elementaire

Le cours vise a approfondir la nature, les buts et les tendances qui caracterisent l'enseignement des sciences humaines a l'elementaire. Une analyse des programmes d'etude sera completee par le developpement de la planification d'unite et l'etude de ressources.



The course is intended to explore the nature, goals and trends characteristic of social studies education at the elementary level. An analysis of curricula will be carried out through the development of unit planning and an examination of resources.
Position Requirements
Normally it is preferred that applicants will have a Master of Education degree appropriate to the area of instruction. Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs, and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied. University teaching experience is an asset.
