The Desktop Setup & Support provides routine set-up, installation, moderate troubleshooting, service, upgrade and basic maintenance for hardware and software.
This position will be responsible for...
Provide on-site support for routine and noncomplex computer access, setup, upgrade and troubleshooting.
Respond to customer inquiries/requests for technical support and prioritize then escalate the majority of technical questions to the appropriate 2nd tier support.
Administer the IT ticket system for all active issues; document, track & monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
Resolve nontechnical matters to satisfy end-user needs.
Provide general scheduled preventative maintenance to computers and peripherals.
Facilitate and coordinate critical support matters.
Provision all user account moves, additions & changes (such as password reset).
High school diploma or GED.
1 year experience preferred.
Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred, i.e., military, trade school, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Customer service driven.
Strong team player.
