Desktop Publisher / Document Specialist Location: Toronto (3 days/week onsite) Schedule: Part-Time, Permanent (~24 hours/week | 0.6 FTE) Industry: Corporate About the Role Our corporate client is seeking a seasoned Desktop Publisher to support the creation and refinement of internal business documents and executive materials. This is not a design role. There is no customer-facing marketing work or brand-driven creative. Instead, this position is focused on producing clear, polished, highly professional internal documentation for executive leadership, board communications, and investor reporting. The ideal candidate is mature, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating independently while engaging with senior stakeholders. What You'll Be Doing Prepare and format internal documents including: Executive and board-level PowerPoint presentations Investor packages and reporting materials Monthly board meeting communications Financial reports and internal summaries Create and refine Excel-based charts, tables, and data visualizations Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across internal documentation Translate complex financial and operational information into clean, easy-to-digest visual formats Work directly with executive stakeholders and senior leaders to refine materials under tight timelines Maintain a high standard of professionalism and discretion What We're Looking For Extensive experience as a Desktop Publisher, Presentation Specialist, or Executive-Level Document Specialist Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including charts and data visualization Strong formatting and layout skills (with an emphasis on clarity over creativity) Comfortable working with financial data and investor-facing materials (internally distributed) Highly detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills Able to operate independently with minimal oversight Professional, composed communicator comfortable interacting with executive stakeholders What This Role Is Not Not a marketing or brand design position Not customer-facing No creative campaign work No brand guideline development This is a precision-focused, internal communications and documentation role.
