As Deskside Support, this team member will work as part of our Business and Technology Services department to troubleshoot technology issues, support team members in their day-to-day work, and remove headaches for our team! This role also includes project work which is not limited to Security projects, Evergreening projects, and Application Deployment projects. This role will also support team members in all our offices, as well as our remote team members. This is a great opportunity to work with an innovative, supportive, and experienced team and learn new skills.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do

  • Monitor the helpdesk and provide prompt support to all team members
  • Set up all new hire accounts, equipment, and workstations
  • Complete offboarding for all accounts, equipment, and workstations
  • Perform audits to ensure a clean and secure environment
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge articles
  • Track, escalate and communicate outages, as required
  • Track all physical assets and in our Asset Management Software
  • Assist in IT Operations projects which include, scoping, planning, and implementing IT applications and solutions
  • Work collaboratively with our Managed Service provider on projects, outages, and updates
  • Assist the Business and Technology Services team with other tasks, as needed

Your Technical Experience
While not an absolute must, knowledge of or experience in the following technical areas would help you be successful in this role:
  • Microsoft 365 Office Suite including Teams
  • Microsoft InTune
  • FreshService or a similar ticketing system
  • Avaya Cloud Phone systems
  • Video conferencing platforms including Teams, Zoom and Cisco WebEx
  • VPN, Citrix
  • ITIL Incident Management understanding
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs

Who You Are
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar technical support role or relevant post-secondary education
  • Love learning and are excited to experience new problems to solve everyday!
  • Have outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills that lead to positive experiences for our team
  • Pride yourself on your efficiency, time management, and ability to work both autonomously, and in a collaborative team environment
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Are excited about getting involved in projects that contribute to the growth of our company and create diversity in your work
  • Can demonstrate technical knowledge of Windows Operating System, MS365, Active Directory, Cloud Services, and a ticketing system (E.g., Fresh service)
