Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Structural Designer is responsible for creating cardboard packaging that meets our customers' needs while respecting production and cost constraints. Our customers come from a variety of sectors: textiles, cosmetics, food, finance, health and beauty, retail, e-cigarettes, and wine and spirits.

At Transcontinental Ross-Ellis, we are passionate about creating cardboard packaging that attracts attention and sparks customer interest at first glance. This passion comes from our 70 years of experience in product packaging. Responsibilities:
When your actions lead to success:

• Receive and analyze projects to fully understand customer needs.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams.
• Design packaging products and concepts that are adapted to production constraints.
• Enter the required information into the production system and prepare the necessary documents.
• Create and produce samples according to customer needs.

Qualifications:
When your expertise drives us:

• Training in structural/industrial design--experience in the field of packaging/cardboard is a significant asset
• Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, Artios, etc.)
• Fluency in French and English (regular communication with US-based suppliers)
• Meticulousness, precision, good learning ability
• Ability to work under pressure
• Experience in cutting and gluing for prototype production
