Job Description

Make a Meaningful Impact in the Lives of Albertans

At the Alberta Cancer Foundation, we exist to create more hope and more moments for Albertans facing cancer, no matter where they live or the type of cancer they're facing. But we can't do it alone. It is the collective actions of our team -alongside our volunteers, partners and donors -that are pivotal to ensuring every Albertan facing cancer has the support they need and the treatment they deserve, now and into the future.

Opportunity

At the Alberta Cancer Foundation, design helps tell the story and create a connection to who we are and the positive impact we make on the lives of Albertans impacted by cancer. As the Designer, you will oversee the visual identity of our brand and partner brands, contributing to marketing and communication initiatives that elevate our connection to our donor community.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications, this role will collaborate across teams to create work that deepens donor engagement, strengthens our reputation and supports our mission to provide more moments for Albertans facing cancer.

The Designer will lead design projects from concept to completion -- producing creative for campaigns, events, publications, digital channels, proposals, signage and more. You'll manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring a consistent and high-quality visual identity across all materials.

You'll thrive in this position if you're a highly organized and creative problem-solver who loves collaboration, cares deeply about purpose-driven work and takes pride in turning ideas into designs that make an impact. You'll also provide guidance and mentorship to the Junior Designer as part of a collaborative and supportive creative team.
