This is a full-time position, working out of our impeccably designed and furnished office in Calgary. You'll mostly work from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with irregular or extended hours as projects demand.


We're seeking a

Design Team Lead

- Architectural Solutions - to guide our talented design team in transforming client visions into reality. This leadership role combines advanced design expertise with strategic oversight, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of creativity, functionality, and sustainability.

What You'll Do



Design Leadership & Project Oversight



Lead design execution for complex, high-profile projects. Review and approve design packages, renderings, and installation plans. Resolve design challenges with creative, compliant solutions.

Team Management & Mentorship



Supervise and mentor designers, fostering growth and collaboration. Assign projects, monitor workloads, and uphold quality standards. Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Strategic Planning & Process Improvement



Develop and implement design standards and best practices. Identify opportunities for innovation in tools and workflows. Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Represent design in client meetings and strategic sessions. Coordinate with sales, project management, and installation teams. Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure technical accuracy.

Technical Expertise



Maintain expert-level knowledge of ICE software, AutoCAD(TM), DIRTT solutions, and integrated interiors. Stay current on industry trends, building codes, and workplace innovations.

What You Bring



Degree/diploma in Interior Design or related field. Proven leadership experience in design teams. Advanced knowledge of interior construction, architectural walls, and workplace design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ICE software (or willingness to learn). Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency.
