Overview

Euro Architectural Components, a division of Richelieu Hardware is looking for a versatile and detailed focused Designer to join our R&D team in the role, you will contribute to the development of a broad range of architectural hardware products, including railing systems, glazing components, and facade accessories, by producing technical drawings, specifications and technical support.

Duties

Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including installation guides, product specifications and production instructions. Analyze existing products and drawings to identify design improvements, material optimizations, or documentation updates. Support the sales and marketing teams with technical side of product presentations. Preform basic quality control evaluations on received products, reviewing accuracy, finish, and compliance with drawings/specs.

Requirements

A technical degree and experience in architectural or mechanical design. 2-4 years of related work experience. Proficiency in AutoCad in required, Revit is important and SolidWorks is an asset. A strong understanding of both technical detailing and practical installation is essential. Industry-specific product experience in building materials is highly advantageous. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes is an asset Skilled in the use of computers, including MS Office, Excellent creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
