Design Coordinator



Location: Sherwood Park, AB

Hours: Wednesday to Friday 8-4:30PM , Saturday & Sunday 12PM-5PM

About the Role



Launch Homes Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to support our design and construction teams. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys coordinating design elements, managing documentation, and ensuring seamless communication between teams, trades, and clients.

The Design Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining the design workflow, assisting with marketing initiatives, and providing administrative support for ongoing projects.

Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle for this role



Key Responsibilities



Project Coordination & Communication



Monitor and manage emails on meeting days or when the leadership team is out of the office. Coordinate and send design-related documents to trades. Distribute signed-off cabinet drawings to all necessary trades, including electricians and plumbers. Upload signed/approved documents to iBuild, including cabinet plans, flooring and tile documents, countertop specs, closet drawings, and light fixture layouts. Assist with sample pickup and drop-offs as needed.

Design & Marketing Support



Create lookbooks for duplexes and spec homes. Assist with social media management, including Instagram posts and website audits to ensure content is up-to-date and visually appealing. Maintain brand consistency across all design and marketing materials.

Client & Showhome Support



Prepare and send possession letters to clients. Assist in managing the showhome, including opening/closing procedures and maintaining cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming environment for visitors.

Qualifications & Skills



Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in design coordination, construction, or interior design is an asset. Familiarity with iBuild or similar project management tools is a plus. Basic knowledge of social media management and marketing platforms. Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
