Job Title: Design Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Port coquitlam & Surrounding Areas (Remote work available for off-site tasks)
Key Responsibilities
Assist with coordination of multiple interior construction projects
Prepare mood boards, material selections, and finish schedules
Support drafting tasks including floor plans, elevations, and basic details
Assist with client presentation materials and revisions
Organize samples, material libraries, and design documentation
Coordinate with senior designers, project managers, and consultants
Attend site visits when required to gain construction and field experience
Support project schedules, documentation, and task tracking
Assist with material orders, delivery coordination, and records
Prepare and organize project documents, reports, and meeting notes
Qualifications
Certificate, Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Basic proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), or similar tools
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment
Proficiency in basic office and coordination tools (Excel, email, cloud-based platforms)
Eligible to work in Canada (Work Permit holders welcome to apply)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
