What YOU Will Do
The job holder acts as a coordinator for all design-related tasks for projects in the Design & Build mode that are currently underway. They report to and collaborate closely with the Design Manager responsible for the design aspect of the projects.
Their responsibilities include:

  • Leading design workshops and drafting meeting minutes.
  • Participating in meetings between the designers and select suppliers.
  • Ensuring that the design complies with the requirements of the CC Contract.
  • Monitoring the design schedule by tracking the actual progress of the Designer.
  • Managing input requests and information requests from the designer (analyzing relevance, tracking, and validation of transmission).
  • Actively participating in the Request for Information (RFI) process to the client (validity and relevance of requests).
  • Coordinating the design with choices and work orientations, including procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinating the design with the requirements of the execution team.
  • Conducting the synthesis and validation of constructibility reviews conducted by various stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors, and participating in comment resolution meetings with the designer.
  • Ensuring that review deadlines are met.
  • Reviewing client and CI (Contractor\'s Information) comments, if applicable, and participating in the response/correction process.
  • Actively participating in the QRT (Quality Review Team) process (validating questions, tracking, and transmitting responses).
  • Guiding the designers in preparing elements for presentation to the technical subcommittee with the client and the CI, if necessary.

What YOU Will Bring
  • Technician\'s diploma in architecture or engineering;
  • Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering or any other relevant education;
  • Experience is an asset, position open to recent graduates (college & university);
  • Bilingualism is an asset;
  • Proficiency in the Office suite (an asset);
  • Mobile;
