Summary

As a Department Manager at Canadian Tire Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in leading your team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales performance. Located in one of our retail locations, you will be instrumental in executing merchandising strategies and fostering a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service. Oversee daily operations within your department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and customer engagement. Manage inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet customer demands. Conduct regular training sessions to develop team skills and product knowledge. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to team members for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role. Strong sales management skills with a focus on achieving results. Excellent communication skills; bilingualism is an asset. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team. Experience in store operations including inventory management and merchandising best practices.
