Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Therapist and/or Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to cover a year long maternity leave starting mid November 2025. If the candidate is certified in dental therapy then we would be offering restorative appointments for them on Mondays and then would need them to have hygiene patients from Tuesday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. This position requires a strong background in excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We would consider part time employment to the right candidate.

Duties

As a Dental Therapist and/or Hygienist, your primary responsibilities will include:

For a dental therapist it would be hygiene appointments for Tuesday to Thursday and therapy on Mondays. If the candidate is a hygienist then it would be hygiene appts Monday to Thursday. Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Executing dental restorative procedures as a Dental Therapist on Mondays Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Documenting patient care and treatment plans accurately in Dentrix software. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to infection control protocols. Providing excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Valid Saskatchewan dental hygiene or Saskatchewan dental therapist license in the province of Saskatchewan.. Experience with Dentrix software is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
