At Kawartha Dental Clinic, we are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care and service to our patients. We are seeking a diligent and detailed-oriented Dental Reprocessing Technician to join our team and ensure the proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. Your role is vital to maintaining a safe and sterile environment that supports patient care.

Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and devices following IPAC protocols.
Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including Hydrim, ultrasonic, and other reprocessing tools.

Inspect and assemble dental instruments and equipment for surgical or dental procedures.

Document and record sterilization processes to ensure regulatory compliance.

Identify and report damaged or defective equipment for repair or replacement.

Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a sterile environment.

Perform routine quality checks to ensure effective sterilization.

Inventory control of supplies to keep the clinic running effectively

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization techniques is an advantage but training will be provided for the right candidate Experience in a sterile processing or reprocessing environment (preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict IPAC protocols. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Punctual and good attendance.
