We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and proficiency in office management software. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining efficient office operations.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
Ensure that the front desk area is organized and welcoming at all times.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Keep up-to-date with medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with patients and staff.
Requirements
Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred.
Proficiency in Tracker and MaxAssist.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical administration are advantageous.
