Vancouver Island Dental Specialists is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist who is a dedicated team player with great communication skills, and is willing to learn and grow into a fulfilling career.

Our growing Periodontic and Prosthodontic specialty practice is located in North Nanaimo. The clinic is a state-of-the-art facility offering innovative service, helping to broaden the scope of treatment options offered on the Island. We are committed to providing excellent care and we pride ourselves on the quality of our treatment.

What we are looking for:

Dental experience is preferred. Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage multi-line phone system to handle incoming calls and schedule appointments. Process payments and insurance claims while providing clear explanations to patients. Communicate effectively with clinical staff to coordinate patient care and office operations. Utilize dental software to manage scheduling and patient records efficiently. Experience with Cleardent is an asset. Maintain electronic medical records and update patient information accurately. Strong typing skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized environment. Professionalism and strong work ethic. Interpersonal skillset.
