We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team at our small, non-corporate dental office. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for patients and visitors while ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with Tracker dental software, or similar. Experience in the dental field or in dental reception duties are required. Duties
Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing exceptional customer service at all times
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and professionally
Handle appointment scheduling and reminder calls using Tracker dental software.
Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic office management tasks
Support administrative functions such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
Ensure the reception area remains organized, clean, and welcoming
Provide support for other dental team members with data entry, if applicable
Maintain phone etiquette and professional communication standards at all times
Support team members with personal assistant duties or clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications
Proven experience in the dental field is required
Strong computer literacy with proficiency
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
Experience with multi-line phone systems and calendar management tools
Attention to detail for proofreading and data accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
Prior experience in dental reception is advantageous but not required
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
This role is essential in maintaining an efficient office environment while delivering outstanding support to clients and staff alike. The ability to prioritize and multitask is required. Clear telephone communications skills are a must as you will be helping patients both on the phone and in person. An understanding of dental terminology is required.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
