We are a growing, patient-focused dental practice seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Receptionist/Administrator to join our team.

This is a permanent position with flexibility for both full-time and part-time applicants.

About the Role



As a Dental Receptionist/Administrator, you will be an essential member of our team, ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive. This position is primarily administrative but will occasionally involve clinical support as needed.

Dental administrative or assisting experience is preferred but not required. We're happy to train the right individual who shows initiative, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for patient care. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people feel comfortable and is eager to learn and grow within the dental field.

Key Responsibilities



Greet and assist patients, creating a professional and welcoming first impression while helping ensure a positive patient experience Communicate with patients by phone, email, and in person with professionalism, accuracy, and courtesy Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow to support smooth and efficient daily operations Accurately enter and update patient information, appointment notes, and treatment details in dental software Maintain organized and accurate patient records and documentation, including forms, filing, scanning, digital uploads, and management of correspondence and referrals Develop and maintain a general understanding of dental procedures to effectively explain treatment plans and coordinate patient care Process billing, payments, and insurance submissions promptly and accurately Assist with administrative, financial, and bookkeeping tasks as required Monitor, track, and assist with inventory control and supply management Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and office environment Provide assistance with chairside or clinical tasks as needed based on operational requirements Safeguard confidentiality of all patient and office information in accordance with policies and regulations Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and a high standard of patient service while supporting team members and contributing to overall practice performance Perform additional administrative and office support duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the practice

Qualifications



Previous experience in a dental or medical office, or in a front desk or customer-facing role, is preferred Previous dental administrative or dental assisting experience is an asset, but not required Computer proficiency with the ability to learn dental software quickly. Professional communication skills with a strong command of the English language, both verbal and written Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Able to manage multiple priorities effectively and adapt to changing needs Outstanding interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of patient interaction and care
