We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Office Manager/Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing front desk operations, familiarity with dental terminology, and proficiency in using dental practice management software 'Tracker' and experienced in AR. Communicating with different insurance providers and setting up new associates with insurance proivders. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth workflow, providing excellent patient care, and maintaining a positive environment for both staff and patients.
Responsibilities
Manage the front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
Oversee the administrative functions of the dental office, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
Staff management, coordinate with dental staff to optimize workflow and enhance patient experiences.
Handle phone systems efficiently to manage incoming calls and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Assist in training new staff members on office procedures and software usage.
Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and place orders as necessary.
Ensure that the office environment is welcoming, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Office Manager or similar role within a dental or medical office setting.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Proficiency in using 'Tracker' or similar dental practice management software.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or front desk administrator is advantageous.
