We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our two dental practices.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office management, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and ensuring efficient workflow. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Manage the front office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and insurance verification.
Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with office policies.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of staff.
Develop and manage budgets for the dental practice, monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure financial health.
Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures to assist staff and patients effectively.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the practice.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
Skills
Proficiency in Abledent or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Strong understanding of human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee management.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is essential.
Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and motivation.
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems for efficient patient data management.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures is beneficial.
Experience in budgeting processes to maintain financial oversight of the practice.
Background in hospital settings or acute care environments is a plus, enhancing understanding of patient care dynamics.
