The Dental Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the office, managing staff, and assisting with administrative responsibilities where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office management and possess excellent leadership skills to foster a positive work environment.
Duties
Oversee daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to promote a productive team environment.
Handle financial management tasks including budgeting, billing, and managing accounts receivable.
Have proficiency in Dentrix, so that support can be provided to admin and clinical team members when necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Supervise human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Skills
Proven experience in dental administration or dental office management.
Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting and financial oversight.
Familiarity with Dentrix.
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, management principles and practices.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to lead and supervise a diverse team effectively.
Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and clinical professionals.
