We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team for Lac la Biche in Alberta. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, particularly within a healthcare setting. This position requires a blend of administrative skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to supervise staff effectively. The Office Administrator will be responsible for managing daily office activities, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining accurate records.
Duties
Oversee daily operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training for new employees.
Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure accuracy in patient documentation.
Maintain appointment schedules and assist with patient flow within the clinic.
Handle human resources tasks such as onboarding, employee evaluations, and compliance with labor laws.
Assist in budgeting processes and monitor office expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Utilize software(Open Dental) for managing dental office operations, including billing and patient management.
Communicate effectively with clinical staff, including nurses and other healthcare professionals, to support patient care initiatives.

Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to hospital and acute care settings.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Solid knowledge of human resources practices and regulations.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
