Registered Dental Hygienist (Permanent Part-Time)

Location: Cambridge Centre Dental Care - Cambridge, ON

Schedule: Friday to Monday

- Friday - Sunday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Monday: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care in our busy practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and confident working in a fast-paced, technology-forward environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and periodontal therapy.

Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care.

Record and maintain accurate clinical notes and patient data.

Collaborate closely with dentists and the admin staff and clinical team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Ensure full compliance with infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols.

Utilize dental technology including digital radiography, panoramic imaging, and intraoral/extraoral scanning.

Maintain an organized and efficient operatory environment.

Qualifications

Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) licensed to practice in Ontario.

Some clinical dental hygiene experience in a general or multi-provider practice. (Recent graduates welcome)

HARP Certified (authorized to take dental radiographs).

Knowledge of dental software, Tracker an asset

Experience with iTero digital scanner and panoramic radiography (pan X-rays) required.

Current IPAC, CPR and First Aid certification.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
