Position Details:

Part-time to start, with the potential to transition to full-time Current schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday (half day) Evening and Saturday availability required Salary will be discussed based on experience Location: Woodbridge, ON - L4L 0G8

Requirements:

Registered and in good standing with the

College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)

Current CPR and First Aid certification Knowledge of dental hygiene principles, procedures, and infection control protocols Familiarity with iTero 3D scanning and digital charting (training available) Experience using

Dentrix

dental software (preferred) Willingness to learn Invisalign treatment procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to educate and motivate patients regarding oral health care Professional, reliable, and team-oriented work ethic Compliance with all CDHO regulations, privacy laws, and workplace safety standards Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans and progress in the dental software system. Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and support. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional customer service. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
