Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. This position requires a strong background in dental hygiene practices, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Dentrix software and familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and dental assisting will be highly valued.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Document patient treatment plans and progress notes accurately using Dentrix software Assist the dentist during procedures as necessary, particularly in orthodontic cases Maintain sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment for patients Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options and follow-up care

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist Proficiency in Dentrix software is preferred Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or dental assisting is a plus Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
