Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment with a focus on delivering exceptional dental services. Bilingual skills and experience with pediatric patients are highly valued.

Duties

Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and treatment plans Assist in patient examinations by recording medical history and vital signs Support the dental team with procedures such as applying sealants or fluoride treatments Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following infection control protocols Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns in a professional manner Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth clinic operations

Experience

Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting is preferred Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental management software is advantageous Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is a plus Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages Prior experience assisting in dental procedures or working in a fast-paced clinical environment is beneficial
