Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist for Saturdays oto join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. This role requires a professional with strong clinical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to promoting optimal oral health for patients of all ages. Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment Provide support with pediatric patients and orthodontic cases when necessary Offer excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally Keep the treatment area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly desirable Background in dental assisting or related fields is a plus Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
