Our dental office located in the vibrant Bloor West Village community is looking to bring on a dental hygienist to join our team!

We've been in the community for over 20 years and continue to serve patients of all ages.

We are looking for an individual who is interested in providing great care to the patients and enjoys building rapport with them.

Responsibilities



Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix software. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including orthodontic treatments when necessary. Provide support in pediatric dentistry by making children feel comfortable during their appointments. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols. Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Requirements



Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario Experience with Dentrix software is preferred. Knowledge of orthodontics is a plus. Previous experience in dental assisting or a dental office setting is advantageous. Familiarity with terminology related to dentistry is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
